Taxonomy is one of the Oldest branches of Science around. It is believed to be conceived by the Ancient Greeks by Aristotle and his pupil's. After that Taxonomy big break was in about 1519 when Andrea Cesalpino was born, and he is considered to be the 1st taxonomist. Then British Taxonomist John Ray Added to the 1500 plants Cesalpino had categorized. From here Carl Linneaus ushered a new era of Taxonomy and Clasification. Linneaus, considered the father of taxonomy, started a common binomial naming system which laid the groundstone for all the work that came after him.
